System Software of Windows 7 for 3041-R and 3042-Q

3041-R/3042-Q System Software for Windows 7 (ST4603)

1．General

New System Software for 3041-R/3042-Q which is full compliance to Windows 7(ST4603) has been released.

Old System Software for present 3041-R/3042-Q (ST4511) was developed for the Windows XP. Since Window XP is no more available in the market, ST4511 had been operated by using XP emulator on WINDOWS 7 or using compatible mode (XP SP2) as the counter-measurement. However, depending on the PC model, ST4511 could not be installed and operated.

In order to solve these problems, new System Software (ST4603) is compliance to Net Framework 3.5 which is installed in Windows 7 as standard and became full compliance to Windows 7.

ST4603 becomes standard System Software for 3041-R and 3042-Q.

2. Details of change

ST4603 consists of:

・Control Center (After Ver2.0.0)

・Task Editor (After Ver2.0.0)

・Password Editor (After Ver2.0)

・Password Reset (After Ver2.0)

・Host link Enable/Disable (After Ver2.0)

3041-R & 3042-Q: Control PC change

1. General

Though a Note PC has been used to control 3041-R and 3042Q, it becomes difficult to provide such Lap Top PC with RS232C function for interfacing with tester due to its discontinuation.

After the date mentioned in below, the Desk Top PC is the standard PC for 3041-R and 3042-Q.
